This secluded and romantic bed and breakfast is situated near Kansas City, and is the perfect getaway for anyone who wants a balance of outdoor activities, and an opportunity to escape the stresses and strains of the modern world. The accommodation is a spacious room rental with its own private bathroom, perfect for two guests; however, a fold-out couch is available for additional guests for an extra fee.
The room is located on the eastern side of the bed and breakfast and boasts its own private entrance and private sitting area, with recliners and a table and chairs. In the bedroom, there is a queen-size bed with a pillow top mattress, as well as a television with local Kansas City channels. Guests will also have their own small refrigerator.
The property itself boasts a well-stocked library, allowing guests to enjoy the numerous reading areas both inside and outside of the property. As well as completely disconnecting from the modern world, guests can enjoy a daily breakfast which includes fruit and vegetables grown organically by the hosts. Glampers can either enjoy their breakfast in one of the quiet eating areas or request to have breakfast taken to their rooms at a previously requested time. If guests want a full breakfast, they must let the hosts know the night before, and an additional fee will apply per person.
Outside, glampers are welcome to make use of all of the property's walking paths and garden areas, in addition to the patio. Please note that the hosts live on-site and are open to interacting as much or as little as guests would like; they will be often seen out in the garden and like to have company.

This is the perfect location for guests looking for a complete rural getaway. Although the property is set in stunning countryside, it is only two miles outside of Parker itself, and Kansas City International Airport is only 78 miles away. The property has access to woodland and fields and it is only a few miles from some beautiful parks and trails. Guests can enjoy the Linn County Park and Marina which is only 21 miles away. A little further on and glampers can enjoy the Marais des Cygnes Wildlife Refuge. This trip is only a 35-minute drive from the cottage.

For the more artistic traveler, there are festivals, such as the Sugar Mound Arts and Crafts Festival, which takes place on the second weekend of October every year. Glampers can also enjoy a quiet and restful day at the Linn County Park and Marina, which is only 20 miles away.
